I get the question, and its variants a lot. My husband describes my new career as a life coach, while a few people have called it a nutritionist. Well, a little bit of both, but a lot of neither. I will break down what my actual title will be when I start coaching, what I am learning to do, and the differences between other health care and service providers .
I am SO excited!
I am so grateful to be able to switch careers, yet again, to something that is more authentic to my life now. While some people feel 'stuck' in a career or lifestyle that once served them, I have never wanted to limit myself to a job or career. The great thing about this day and age is that you are not stuck in any one job or career. You can choose another path at anytime. There are so many jobs out there to choose from, why stay in something you hate? Life is TOO short to stay in something that sucks. And if what you want doesn't exist, CREATE IT!
So my new title will be 'Integrative Nutrition Health Coach'. I will basically be helping you find ways to reach your fullest potential by uncovering things in your life that no longer serve you and add in new habits. A lot of people think I will only be dealing with food- Food is secondary to the the circle of life and your overall health and wellness. There are 12 areas of life that all add up to YOUR best self that is unique to you. No other person's plan will look the same- we are as different as our fingerprints. This is NOT a one size fits all type of coaching.

I am here to help you stay accountable. I am here to be your soundboard- to bounce ideas off of. I am here to help you see a new way to reach your goals. In ALL areas of life, OR just a particular area or issue.
The 12 areas of life include: Joy, Spirituality, Creativity, Finances, Career, Education, Health, Physical Activity, Home cooking, Home environment, Relationships and Social Life.
Although I won't be able to diagnose, treat or prescribe medications, I will suggest low-risk, general ideas to help SUPPORT your health and wellness goals. I will be offering many different services to fit each individual's specific needs.
What you put in, you get out
I will help you uncover and reach your best self Mind, Body and Soul. You are not just what you eat, but a culmination of your work, your movement, your mindset, your relationships, and so on... TOGETHER we will see what works and what doesn't. We will come up with a strategy to reach your goals- and I will hold you accountable. I will give you ALL the tools you need, but the outcome will be based on how much you put in.
BE the change you want
In just a few short months I will be able to begin taking my first clients to put into action my new skills. I already have a list of people who are ready. It's a pretty awesome feeling to know I have people who believe in me that they already want to be on the 'wait list'!see what i have to offer and to make some changes in their lives!
I will help you reach your best self mind, body and soul using a tool called the circle of life that touches on 12 areas of your life. Everyone's circle of life is different and so will your unique strategy to reach your particular goal or goals. I am not a nutritionist- I don't diagnose, treat or prescribe- I suggest low-risk, general opportunities of growth to reach your highest potential. The outcome is up to you- I will give you all the tools you need, but if you don't do the work, you won't get the results you desire. You get out what you put in. Be the change. Are you IIN?
