PBJ is Life!

Nothing feels more like comfort than a PB&J. It's quick. It's satisfying. If you pick the right ingredients it can even be considered a health food. That just sounds like a winner all the way around to me!

The ingredients for this cold treat is simple. All you need are some frozen fruit, nut butter and milk. Add extra's to your heart's content to customize your blend.

Basic Recipe:

1 frozen banana, cut into chunks

1 cup plant milk of choice, plus more to desired consistency

1 tablespoon Nut Butter of choice

1/4 cup blueberries, Frozen or Fresh

Toss all those babies in your Vitamix and blend on low and add more milk as needed until mixed through, then flip the switch to high for about 1 minute.

add-ins for additional flavor and nutrients:

Pinch of Cinnamon, Vanilla &/or Salt

1 Date, Stevia or Nectar of choice

Switch Blueberries for any other Berries

Plant Protein of choice

Handful or two of any leafy greens

spirulina, Matcha or Chlorella

Sprinkle on top Coconut Flakes, Granola or more Berries
